A CLEAR, PROFESSIONAL PROCESS
From the first conversation to long-term support.
I guide each project through a clear series of decisions, approvals, and testing so you always know what is happening, what I need from you, and what comes next.
Website design, local search, and social media are planned together around your business goals—not treated as disconnected services.
01
Discover and Audit
We start by understanding where your business stands today, what your customers need, and where your online presence may be holding you back.
- Complimentary Initial Review — Before our first conversation, I review your public website, mobile experience, Google presence, social profiles, reviews, competitors, and customer contact paths to identify obvious strengths and opportunities. This initial review is always free.
- Owner & Manager Discovery — If you decide to move forward, we conduct a structured discovery interview to understand your services, customers, goals, service areas, competitive position, current marketing, priorities, and what success should look like.
- Comprehensive Digital Audit — I then perform a deeper review of the areas included in your project, including your website, local search presence, Google Business Profile, social media, content, usability, search visibility, analytics, and other relevant systems.
- Findings & Priorities — The discovery process is organized into clear findings so we can identify what is already working, what needs attention first, which services make sense, and what should happen next.

02
Plan and Agree
Before design begins, we turn what we learned during discovery into a clear project plan—defining exactly what will be created, what it will accomplish, what I need from you, and how the project will move forward.
- Scope, Pricing & Agreement — We define the services you are purchasing, the pages and functionality included, project deliverables, timeline, responsibilities, revision process, pricing, and any optional ongoing support before work begins.
- Ownership & Access — We identify the website, domain, Google, analytics, social, and other accounts involved in your project, confirm that your business retains control of its permanent assets, and arrange only the access needed to perform the agreed work.
- Strategy & Project Blueprint — Discovery findings are translated into a practical plan for your website and online presence, including customer journeys, page structure, navigation, functionality, SEO and local-search priorities, selected social platforms, and how success will be measured.
- Content & Responsibilities — We identify the copy, business information, photographs, branding, testimonials, service details, and other materials the project requires, then clearly establish what you will provide, what I will create or edit, and what needs your approval before design begins.

03
Design and Approve
We turn the approved project plan into a complete visual blueprint—defining how each page is structured, what content appears where, how the experience adapts across devices, and how the final website should look before development begins.
- Responsive Wireframes — I map the structure of important pages and templates for desktop, tablet, and mobile, including section order, navigation, calls to action, forms, images, and how layouts stack or change as screen size changes.
- Content & Media Placement — Final or near-final copy, photographs, buttons, links, forms, and other media are assigned to their exact locations so the website is not being filled with placeholder content or improvised decisions during development.
- Visual Design System — We establish the typography hierarchy, colors, spacing, buttons, forms, cards, imagery, and reusable design styles that will stay consistent throughout the site rather than styling every page independently.
- Review, Revisions & Approval — You review the responsive structure, content, visual direction, homepage, representative interior pages, and other important elements. Feedback is incorporated through the agreed revision process, and the design is approved before the full build begins.

04
Build and Connect
With the structure, content, and visual direction approved, I build the working website in a protected staging environment and connect the systems that support it—from forms and analytics to search, local listings, and selected social platforms.
- Website Development — I build the approved pages, templates, navigation, forms, responsive layouts, content, imagery, and reusable design system in WordPress, following the wireframes and specifications approved during the previous stage.
- Search & Measurement Setup — The approved SEO plan is implemented through page titles, headings, URLs, internal links, indexing controls, sitemaps, redirects, Search Console, Analytics, and agreed conversion tracking.
- Google & Social Connections — When included in your project, I update and connect your Google Business Profile, local business information, website links, Facebook, Instagram, and other selected platforms so your information and branding remain consistent across your online presence.
- Security, Performance & Accessibility — Before the site enters final testing, I configure the appropriate security and backup protections, optimize loading performance, verify responsive and accessibility-critical behavior, and prepare a stable staging version for formal quality assurance.

05
Test, Launch and Hand Off
We review the completed work, test the customer experience, publish everything, confirm your access, and provide documentation and training.
06
Measure and Support
After launch, I can maintain the website, monitor performance, update content, support local SEO, and manage agreed social media activity.
